White Cloud Bell
White Cloud Bell plants produce thick-walled peppers up to 3 inches long and wide. The fruit begin ivory white and ripens to bright orange red, offering a mild, clean sweetness and juicy crunch at the ivory stage. Fully ripe fruit becomes slightly sweeter and fruitier as their natural sugars increase, but peppers can turn bitter if left on the plant too long. Harvest while ivory or soon after ripening for the best flavor. Excellent fresh in salads, stuffed, or used in gourmet cooking. Heirloom.
Bell peppers are native to Central and Northern South America. After being brought to Spain in the 1490s, they spread throughout Europe and Asia, then later reached North America with early European settlers. Today, bell peppers are among the world’s best-known peppers, with dozens of varieties developed for gourmet cooking and everyday culinary use. Heirloom.

Did you know? Humidity can reduce the viability of pepper seeds over time, causing seeds to stagnate. That’s why every seed pack includes a silica gel packet to help keep the seeds dry and fresh. To save seeds for next year, place the seed packet and silica gel packet together in a quart-size freezer bag, seal it, and store it in the refrigerator. Do not freeze.
