Caribbean Red Habanero
Extremely Hot
Caribbean Red Habanero peppers are native to Mexico and are now grown throughout the Caribbean. The wrinkled, lantern-shaped fruit grows about 2 inches long and ripens from lime green to bright red. The fruit delivers intense heat with a pungent, vividly fruity flavor, subtle smokiness, gentle sweetness, and distinct citrus notes. Excellent for hot sauces, marinades, and salsa, this red variety is slightly milder than its yellow cousin. Heirloom.

Did you know? Humidity can reduce the viability of pepper seeds over time, causing seeds to stagnate. That’s why every seed pack includes a silica gel packet to help keep the seeds dry and fresh. To save seeds for next year, place the seed packet and silica gel packet together in a quart-size freezer bag, seal it, and store it in the refrigerator. Do not freeze.
