Thai Hot Ornamental
Thai Hot Ornamental peppers are native to Central and northern South America and were later brought to Southeast Asia, where they became woven into many regional cuisines. The small, 1-inch, conical fruit grows upright and ripens from green to purple, then bright red. They deliver a sharp, fast-acting heat with a clean, crisp, vegetal flavor, subtle fruitiness, and earthy aroma, without strong floral or smoky notes. Use the fruit as a garnish or in sauces, marinades, salsa, stir-fries, and hot vinegar. High-yielding plants also pair well with other ornamentals for a colorful edible display. Heirloom.

Did you know? Humidity can reduce the viability of pepper seeds over time, causing seeds to stagnate. That’s why every seed pack includes a silica gel packet to help keep the seeds dry and fresh. To save seeds for next year, place the seed packet and silica gel packet together in a quart-size freezer bag, seal it, and store it in the refrigerator. Do not freeze.
