Purple Tiger
Purple Tiger is an ornamental pepper with striking variegated green, white, and purple foliage. The upright, tapered, conical fruit grows about 1 inch long, starting green, turning purple, and ripening to red. They offer bold chili heat with a lightly sweet, fruity flavor and mild earthy undertones. The thin-skinned fruit are excellent blistered, while dried peppers make a flavorful spice for soups, stews, and seafood. Considered rare. Heirloom.

Did you know? Humidity can reduce the viability of pepper seeds over time, causing seeds to stagnate. That’s why every seed pack includes a silica gel packet to help keep the seeds dry and fresh. To save seeds for next year, place the seed packet and silica gel packet together in a quart-size freezer bag, seal it, and store it in the refrigerator. Do not freeze.
