Orange Jalapeño
Orange Jalapeño peppers are a popular alternative to green Jalapeños. The fruit starts green, turns tangerine orange, and then ripens red. At the orange stage, the peppers have distinct sugary sweetness, fruity citrus undertones, a crisp, clean finish, and a stronger punch of heat. They are noticeably sweeter and juicier than green Jalapeños and become sweetest when fully ripe. Excellent for pickling, they can also be used in salsa, sauces, or as a colorful topping on any culinary creation. Heirloom.

Did you know? Humidity can reduce the viability of pepper seeds over time, causing seeds to stagnate. That’s why every seed pack includes a silica gel packet to help keep the seeds dry and fresh. To save seeds for next year, place the seed packet and silica gel packet together in a quart-size freezer bag, seal it, and store it in the refrigerator. Do not freeze.
