Mushroom Red Habanero
Very Hot
Mushroom Red Habanero peppers are thought to be native to Jamaica, though they were likely introduced from Mexico. Named for their distinctive flattened mushroom shape, the fruit grows about 2 inches long and wide. They offer fruity sweetness, sharp citrusy tang, and blistering heat. Excellent with seafood, chicken, or pork, this variety is also well suited for hot sauces, marinades, jams, infused oils, or drying and grinding for spice and rubs.

Did you know? Humidity can reduce the viability of pepper seeds over time, causing seeds to stagnate. That’s why every seed pack includes a silica gel packet to help keep the seeds dry and fresh. To save seeds for next year, place the seed packet and silica gel packet together in a quart-size freezer bag, seal it, and store it in the refrigerator. Do not freeze.
