Little Elf
Medium Heat
Little Elf is a compact ornamental pepper plant with small, upright, cone-shaped fruit about an half inch long. The peppers grow in clusters and ripen from light green to purple, yellow, orange, and bright red, often showing several colors at once. Their flavor is mild and mostly neutral, with slight tangy citrus notes, making them useful for adding heat without changing a dish’s overall flavor profile. They are also good for drying and ground for spice. Peppers were introduced to Hungary in the 1600s and are used to season soups, stews, and traditional Hungarian cuisine. Heirloom.

Did you know? Humidity can reduce the viability of pepper seeds over time, causing seeds to stagnate. That’s why every seed pack includes a silica gel packet to help keep the seeds dry and fresh. To save seeds for next year, place the seed packet and silica gel packet together in a quart-size freezer bag, seal it, and store it in the refrigerator. Do not freeze.
