Lemon Habanero peppers are native to Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula and date back nearly 8,000 years. The wrinkled, lantern-shaped fruit grows 2 to 3 inches long and ripens to bright yellow. Highly aromatic and tropical, they deliver wild fruity flavor with lemon zest, pineapple, and apricot notes before a sharp, intense burn. Excellent with chicken, fish, and other seafood, and they are also a strong choice for hot sauce and serious heat lovers. Considered rare. Heirloom.

Did you know? Humidity can reduce the viability of pepper seeds over time, causing  seeds to stagnate. That’s why every seed pack includes a silica gel packet to help keep the seeds dry and fresh. To save seeds for next year, place the seed packet and silica gel packet together in a quart-size freezer bag, seal it, and store it in the refrigerator. Do not freeze.
