Hungarian Yellow Sweet Wax
Sweet
Hungarian Yellow Sweet Wax peppers resemble Banana peppers, producing thick, waxy fruit about 6 inches long. Usually harvested yellow for a crisp, snappy, mildly sweet flavor, the fruit ripens red and becomes richer and sweeter. They have a tangy, lightly fruity profile with gentle warmth despite being classified as sweet. Enjoy them fresh, stuffed, grilled, fried, roasted, or pickled. Also known as Sweet Banana, Yellow Wax, and Banana Chili. Great for short-season climates. Heirloom.
