Corno di Toro Giallo
Sweet
Corno di Toro Giallo plants produce 6- to 10-inch peppers shaped like a bull’s horn. The fruit matures from green to vibrant yellow and can be harvested either way. They have thick, meaty flesh with a crisp texture and a sweet, citrusy flavor with a slight tang. They are essential in Italian cuisine and can be enjoyed fresh or cooked; they are excellent fried, stuffed, roasted, or grilled. The name means “yellow horn of the bull” in Italian. Although classified as sweet, the fruit can produce slight heat. Heirloom.

Did you know? Humidity can reduce the viability of pepper seeds over time, causing seeds to stagnate. That’s why every seed pack includes a silica gel packet to help keep the seeds dry and fresh. To save seeds for next year, place the seed packet and silica gel packet together in a quart-size freezer bag, seal it, and store it in the refrigerator. Do not freeze.
