Caribbean Yellow Habanero
Extremely Hot
Caribbean Yellow Habanero peppers are native to Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula and were later spread throughout the Caribbean. The wrinkled, lantern-shaped fruit grows about 2 inches long and ripens from light green to bright yellow. The fruit is prized for intense, fiery heat and a vivid tropical flavor with strong citrus notes, distinct fruity sweetness, and subtle smokiness. Excellent for hot sauces, marinades, and salsa, this yellow variety is slightly hotter than its red cousin. Heirloom.

Did you know? Humidity can reduce the viability of pepper seeds over time, causing seeds to stagnate. That’s why every seed pack includes a silica gel packet to help keep the seeds dry and fresh. To save seeds for next year, place the seed packet and silica gel packet together in a quart-size freezer bag, seal it, and store it in the refrigerator. Do not freeze.
